As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise to bring projects from design to fully supported operations. Projects will cover Sky’s entire Broadcast infrastructure, from Content Production to Transmission and delivery platforms.

What you'll do

• Implement broadcast technical solutions and integrate with existing systems on the broadcast platform.
• Work based on provided designs or develop technical designs for projects or integrations.
• Engage with Support and Operational teams early in projects to ensure systems go live in a supported, operational state.
• Maintain effective communication with stakeholders and project teams, ensuring regular updates.
• Produce high-quality documentation detailing technical architecture, connectivity, system drawings, and cabling.

What you'll bring

• Strong understanding of broadcast television technical elements, including MPEG/DVB standards, Production, Studio, Video, Audio, Cloud Production, and control systems.
• Good knowledge of Broadcast IP standards and implementations such as SMPTE 2022, SMPTE 2110, AoIP (AES67), and PTP.
• Proficiency in IT and computer networking for fault finding and issue resolution.
• High attention to detail and quality in design, implementation, and documentation.
• Experience in troubleshooting and devising design modifications for broadcast systems.
• Competence with broadcast testing equipment and AutoCAD for schematic drawings.
