Job Title - Senior Project Engineer

Location: Ashford, TN24 0LU

Salary: £65,000 per annum circa, dependent on experience

A full-time, permanent opportunity has arisen at our site in Ashford, Kent for a Senior Project Engineer to join the team.

You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end delivery of multiple capital-based infrastructure, growth, and cost-out projects to specification, within time and cost plans, achieving the highest engineering and professional standards.

This is a great time to join the business as we start work on some new major projects and initiatives for our site.

The Successful Candidate Will

• Develop a pipeline of suitable projects, including feasibility studies, cost-benefit analysis, etc.
• Lead the compilation of capital authority request documentation and narratives
• Lead and engage end users in developing engineering scope
• Develop functional design specifications in compliance with engineering and Premier specifications
• Run tender and procurement activities with equipment vendors

What We Need From You

• Engineering Degree or equivalent
• Up to 5 years FMCG background
• Extensive capital project management experience with a customer focus
• Proven success in delivering engineering capital projects in FMCG, with emphasis on specification, planning, implementation, and validation
• Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams
• Knowledge of food processing and related equipment
