Job summary

NEOS Recruitment is seeking an experienced Lead Project Manager in Andover to lead multiple complex projects within the capital projects division. You will oversee a team of Project Managers and Engineers, ensuring delivery on time, to spec and to the highest quality standards, while managing procurement, planning and risk across a portfolio valued from £150k to £5m.

Qualifications

• 10+ years' experience in a technical/project environment.
• Proven experience delivering complex projects (typical £150k–£5m).
• Strong people management and leadership experience.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary project teams.
• Strong understanding of the construction industry and technical project delivery.
• Experience managing design documentation and QHSE processes and controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage and develop a team of Project Managers and Engineers.
• Provide senior-level support and decision-making across project delivery.
• Attend technical, commercial and contractual handover meetings.
• Support Project Managers with procurement, planning and delivery.
• Ensure compliance with project processes including variations, payment notifications, programme management, RAMS, Health & Safety and design meetings.
• Coordinate between Technical/Design, Project Management and Engineering teams to ensure designs are completed on time and meet customer specifications.
• Drive high standards of project performance, quality and customer service.
• Mentor and develop Project Managers and support wider team development.
• Take responsibility for the technical, quality and financial performance of projects.
• Identify and implement improvements across the Projects department.
• Work with the wider management team to ensure projects are delivered on time, to specification and to agreed quality standards.
