Job summary

Virtual Hire Staffing seeks an experienced Project Director to lead delivery on major civil infrastructure programmes across the UK. You will own client relationships, oversee governance, and lead multi-disciplinary teams with accountability for commercial and programme outcomes on high-value schemes.

You will develop commercial teams, drive procurement strategy, risk management, and value engineering across CAPEX and OPEX while overseeing NEC contract administration and change control.

Qualifications

• Significant leadership experience delivering major infrastructure projects.
• Experience with NEC contracts including cost-reimbursable/Option E.
• RICS accreditation or working towards it.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with gravitas to influence at director level.
• Progressed from senior QS/commercial management into programme or project leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery on major civil infrastructure programmes across the UK.
• Own client relationships and governance at programme level.
• Lead commercial and delivery strategy across a portfolio of infrastructure projects.
• Develop commercial teams including QS's and contract managers; drive procurement strategy.
• Manage risk, value engineering, and NEC contract administration and change control.
