Job summary

Metlen Energy & Metals seeks an experienced Senior Project Coordinator - Tender to join the London office and support coordination and delivery of tender opportunities across the UK and Ireland. You will manage day-to-day tender activities, ensuring technical, commercial and administrative inputs align with client requirements and deadlines.

The role requires strong organisation, communication, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams and stakeholders. Prior Solar/BESS exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in project coordination, tender coordination, bid management or a closely related discipline.
• Experience supporting tenders and project activities across the UK and/or Ireland.
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
• Strong organisational and communication skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Act as the lead coordinator across multiple tenders, supporting the Tender Manager in delivering high-quality submissions.
• Oversee the full tender coordination process, ensuring all inputs (technical, commercial, legal, procurement, etc.) are accurate, complete, and submitted on time.
• Review and validate documentation before submission to ensure consistency, compliance, and quality standards.
• Serve as a key liaison between internal teams, proactively following up to resolve gaps or inconsistencies.
• Support planning and prioritization of tender activities, helping manage deadlines and team workload.
• Mentor and guide Coordinators, ensuring best practices and continuous improvement.
• Assist in client communication and clarification processes as required.

As we continue to expand our activities across theUK and Ireland, we are looking for a Senior Project Coordinator - Tenderto join our team in our London office and support the coordination and delivery of tender opportunities across the market.

What you bring to the role:

• Bsc in Civil, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• 5+ years of relevant experience in project coordination, tender coordination, bid management or a closely related discipline
• Experience supporting tenders and project activities across the UK and/or Ireland
• Previous experience in Solar/BESS projects is considered an advantage
• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities and deadlines simultaneously
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders
• Strong attention to detail and a structured approach to documentation and administration
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight tender submission deadlines
• Good knowledge of Autocad and MS Office
• Proactive, hands-on and collaborative approach, with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal
• A strong interest in working within an international project and tendering environment, with exposure to the UK and Ireland markets
