Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Senior Project Controls Engineer for the National Security & Defence Infrastructure South East Cost Centre. You will lead planning and scheduling activities on high‑value programmes, collaborating with project managers and multi-disciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant technical or management field.
• Professional Project Controls experience spanning planning & scheduling across the project lifecycle.
• Strong knowledge of Primavera (P6) and other planning software.
• Proficient in earned value management techniques.
• Experience using NEC contracts is desirable.
• Member of a relevant professional body e.g., APM/PMI.
• Ability to coordinate across multi-disciplinary teams.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain project schedules that support project requirements.
• Develop the project schedules with the project manager and project team.
• Reduce uncertainty, define objectives and improve efficiency.
• Coordinate with project managers to schedule work and coordinate assignments.
• Evaluate schedule progress and identify developing problem areas.
• Assist in change management processes and procedures.
• Develop status reports to keep management informed on progress.
• Analyze alternatives for recovering slipped schedules.
