Job summary

General Dynamics Mission Systems UK is seeking a Senior Project Controller to support Project Managers with planning, scheduling and budget adherence for multiple projects. The role involves monitoring, reporting and escalating issues with recommended solutions to keep programs on track.

The ideal candidate will bring extensive project control experience, strong MS Project skills, and a proactive, service-oriented mindset. Hybrid work options and relocation support are available.

Qualifications

• Considerable experience working in a controlled project environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project for creating and maintaining project schedules.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
• Experience with risk management tools and practices.
• Ability to support a portfolio of projects of medium to high complexity.
• Flexibility and a service delivery mind-set.
• Degree level education or equivalent experience.
• Experience working with or familiarity with AI/ML models is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support assigned Project Manager(s) to promote good planning practice and ensure scope, schedule & budget adherence.
• Monitor, report & flag concerns, exceptions and issues through recognised escalation routes, along with proposed solutions.
