Hitachi Energy has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Controller. Be part of Hitachi Energy's Grid & Power Quality Solutions and Service group, as a world-leading provider of grid connections and power quality solutions that enable our customers to build a more sustainable, flexible and secure energy systems.
You will work closely with Project Management and cross-functional teams to provide clear financial insight, support decision-making, and strengthen project performance
Provide financial support across the full project lifecycle (tender → execution → warranty), ensuring transparency and control.
Partner with Project Managers on commercial and financial matters, translating data into clear insights and supporting decisions.
Support profitability and cash performance by identifying risks and opportunities early and contributing to mitigation actions.
Coordinate and prepare monthly project reviews and forecasts, ensuring reliable financial insight and consistency.
Support financial processes including invoicing, cash collection, currency exposure tracking, bonds & guarantees, and tax alignment with relevant functions
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or similar.
Strong Excel capability; experience with SAP or similar ERP systems is an advantage.
Experience in project or tender controlling in a project-based environment is beneficial.
A structured approach with the ability to move from data to insight to action.
Comfortable working with multiple stakeholders in an international environment.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
