Job summary

BAM UK & Ireland is seeking a Project Commercial Director for Lot 3 of the HS2 Track Systems programme, based in our Birmingham office. You will lead the commercial strategy and delivery in a multi-hundred-million-pound infrastructure project within the FBJV, working with HS2 and the supply chain to maximise value and manage risk.

You will bring significant experience delivering large-scale infrastructure, a proven track record in commercial leadership, and strong contract knowledge (NEC) with

Qualifications

• Significant experience delivering large-scale infrastructure projects (typically £300m+)
• Strong track record in commercial leadership on multidisciplinary programmes
• Excellent knowledge of contract forms (e.g. NEC) and commercial best practice
• Experience in joint venture/alliance environments (desirable)
• Outstanding leadership, negotiation and stakeholder management
• Ability to influence at executive level and drive high-performing teams

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic commercial leadership for Lot 3 within FBJV and HS2 objectives
• Lead procurement, cost management, change control and contract administration
• Maximise value and minimise risk through proactive commercial governance
• Partner with project leadership to drive performance, certainty and delivery
• Manage key stakeholder relationships including HS2 Ltd and JV stakeholders
• Promote a collaborative, high-performance culture in line with alliance principles
