Job summary

HS2 Ltd seeks a Senior Commercial Manager to lead commercial activities within Delivery teams for major infrastructure contracts. You will provide leadership to HS2 commercial staff and work with supply chains to ensure commercial objectives are met.

The role covers pre-contract, procurement and post-contract activities, including tender evaluation, contract readiness and cost governance, with a focus on delivering value for money and effective commercial management.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering commercial activities in major infrastructure projects.
• Ability to develop commercial strategies and plans.
• Experience managing high value contracts with supply chain partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial activities within Delivery teams and provide leadership to HS2 commercial staff.
• Evaluate tenders, draft contract documents, and develop contract management plans.
• Provide commercial assurance and support monthly performance reviews and cost estimates.
• Support change, risk management and settlements with suppliers and contractors.
