Job summary

Conrad Consulting Ltd in Colchester, Essex is seeking a Senior Project Architect to lead projects from concept through construction. You’ll own the process end to end, producing detailed drawings in Revit and AutoCAD, and ensuring design intent and regs compliance on-site.

The role offers hybrid working, a strong path to leadership, and a clear progression within a growing practice. ARB/RIBA qualification and 5+ years UK experience are required.

Qualifications

• ARB and RIBA qualification with 5+ years UK post-Part III experience
• Strong technical detailing and knowledge of planning processes
• Experience leading projects from concept to completion

Responsibilities

• Take architectural projects from concept through to construction, owning the process end to end
• Produce detailed drawings and models in Revit and AutoCAD, backed by strong technical detailing knowledge
• Prepare construction documentation and keep planning/building regs compliance watertight
• Get out on site - monitor progress, quality, and design intent in person
• Be the calm, confident voice in client and contractor negotiations
• Coach and develop junior architects, helping shape the next generation of the team
• Juggle timelines, budgets and multiple live projects without missing a beat
• Bring concepts to life visually using Adobe Creative Suite
