Job summary

Brightrock Games is seeking a Senior Programmer to join the core team working on Kaiju Cleanup. You will build and maintain core architecture, focusing on AI, pathfinding and networking within a small indie studio.

We value demonstrable expertise with ECS, multi-threaded real-time systems, and a deep understanding of C#. This fully remote role welcomes applicants from the UK and Europe, with a friendly, collaborative team ethos and supportive breaks.

Qualifications

• Experience with multi-threaded real-time systems at senior level or above.
• Deep understanding of the C# language and its pitfalls.
• Experience working on games with an ECS architecture.
• Experience owning and developing systems such as AI, pathfinding or physics.
• Passion for working in a small indie games development team.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain low-level core features and their architectures.
• Engage in code review with the programming team and provide detailed technical guidance.
• Collaborate with design to devise and implement technical solutions to design challenges.
