Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland is seeking a senior, programme-facing professional to shape leadership, culture and workforce performance across major programmes. This role focuses on aligning wellbeing and psychosocial risk with governance, delivery and client outcomes across UK&I projects.

You will work with Programme Directors and executive sponsors to set up mobilisation, integrate risk into governance, and drive practical controls that improve performance and resilience across complex initiatives.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in major programmes, infrastructure projects or portfolios.
• Deep understanding of governance, financial and commercial models, contracts and client governance.
• Gravitas and presence to engage with Senior Leadership Teams and executives.
• Ability to tie health, wellbeing and workforce risks to programme performance and outcomes.
• Proven experience shaping culture, leadership behaviours and workforce performance in high-pressure environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead major programme leadership and integration with Programme Directors and senior client stakeholders.
• Develop trusted relationships with major clients and delivery partners to challenge and propose practical solutions.
• Embed wellbeing, psychosocial risk, and workforce performance into governance, plans and reporting.
• Provide strategic advice during mobilisation, transformation and delivery pressures.
