Job summary

STEM Learning is seeking a Programme Manager to oversee the TechFirst programme across London. You will lead delivery with schools, employers and partners, ensuring targets are met and meaningful outcomes for young people are achieved.

Reporting to the Head of Skills & Partner Engagement, you will translate national strategy into regional delivery, guide a large delivery team and work with national colleagues to keep delivery aligned with government expectations.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading complex programmes within education, skills, careers, youth engagement, or related sectors.
• Confident leader with strong programme management, financial oversight, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience of managing performance against targets, reporting to senior stakeholders, and building productive relationships across diverse partner networks.
• Passionate about improving opportunities for young people and motivated by the chance to make a lasting impact.

Responsibilities

• Oversee regional planning, performance, stakeholder engagement, compliance, and reporting; lead a team of delivery professionals.
• Work closely with national colleagues and external partners to ensure delivery aligns with programme objectives and government expectations.
• Drive continuous improvement and ensure high-quality experiences and measurable impact across London.
