Job summary

QinetiQ Limited invites applications for a Senior Programme Manager at our Bristol site to lead the delivery of complex programmes within the Maritime EDP framework, engaging with customers, partners, and suppliers to achieve critical outcomes.

You will drive governance, risk management, forecasting, and performance reporting while championing continuous improvement, operational excellence, and best practice programme management. Travel to sites will be expected.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading complex, high-value projects, programmes, portfolios, or P3 functions.
• Strong programme leadership capability at IPMA Level A or equivalent.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
• Impressive people leadership, building high-performing, inclusive teams.
• Experience delivering organisational change and benefits realisation.
• Commercial acumen with ability to support business development.

Responsibilities

• Lead engagement with customers, partners, and suppliers as a key contact for delivery and escalation.
• Deliver programme outcomes against objectives for customer satisfaction, schedule, cost, quality, and financial performance.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships across stakeholders and the delivery network.
• Provide leadership to programme teams and promote continuous improvement and alignment with values.
• Oversee governance, risk, opportunity and resource management for effective control.
• Support growth and operational excellence through stakeholder communications and delivery improvements.
