QinetiQ Limited in Portsmouth is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead high-value, technically complex defence projects and bids for Maritime Operation Training Environment capabilities delivered by the CCIS IDT. You will manage staff training programmes and ship-based initiatives, working across diverse research and engineering programmes as capabilities evolve.

The role requires proven leadership across multi-disciplinary teams, strong stakeholder management, and compliance with governance

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading complex projects, programmes or portfolios in high-stakes environments.
• Strong ability to manage multiple workstreams, stakeholders and priorities.
• Excellent leadership and decision-making to deliver on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
• Deliver project outcomes to objectives for customer satisfaction, quality, cost, schedule, and cash performance.
• Lead and support multi-functional teams, fostering a safe, secure, and values-driven culture.
• Apply project governance, manage KPIs, and maintain financial/resource forecasts.
• Resolve project issues, risks and conflicts across the wider business to achieve successful outcomes.
• Provide progress reporting to programme leadership and deputise for the Senior Programme Manager when required.
