Job Description:

Part of a major international engineering group, this organisation is embarking on a significant investment programme to transform a large production site with new buildings, facilities, and capital equipment.

Senior Programme Manager – Manufacturing Site Transformation

Salary: Highly competitive salary & benefits package

Location: West Midlands (commutable from Dudley, Wolverhampton, Bridgnorth, Redditch, Telford, South Birmingham)

Reporting to the MD, you will be responsible for a multi-million pound Site Transformation programme delivering new buildings, site facilities, and upgrading & installing new manufacturing equipment, without disrupting current production operations.

• Managing the implementation and delivery of large site transformation budget
• Sub-contractor management, coordination, supervision, and instruction to meet required standards
• Designing new manufacturing facilities, refurbishing existing facilities, and transferring production into new factory
• Installation and management of site utilities as part of the facilities management team
• Installation and management of production machinery and process layout as part of the manufacturing engineering team
• Compilation of CAPEX documentation for presentation to directors
• Creating tender documentation and sending it out to all relevant contractors prior to procurement
• Ensuring all CDM management, risk assessments, and methods statements are adhered to
• Active management of and engagement with internal and external stakeholders

Experience:

You will already have significant experience in a Programme Manager, Facilities Manager, or Engineering Project Manager capacity with expertise in technical contractor management and site coordination.

• Proven track record of delivering large capital expenditure projects within time and budget
• Background delivering manufacturing infrastructure, site facilities, and production equipment
• Proven ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams delivering high-value turnkey projects
• Analytical with good judgment, commercial business sense, and problem-solving skills
• Relation builder with good communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders
• Structured worker with good time management and project management ability
