Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking an experienced Senior Programme Manager to lead a major infrastructure programme with strong governance, cost control and risk management. You will coordinate client and partner teams, drive progress, and provide clear, evidence-based reporting to senior stakeholders.

The role requires expert stakeholder management, robust governance, and a track record of delivering complex programmes in regulated or demanding sectors. Hybrid working and a competitive package are offered.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience leading high-value, complex infrastructure programmes.
• Strong governance, controls, reporting, risk, change, cost management, forecasting and scheduling.
• Trusted client-side advisor delivering direction and assurance to senior stakeholders.
• Experience managing diverse stakeholders including clients, consultants and delivery partners.
• Understanding lifecycle stages: business case, procurement, delivery strategy and benefits.
• Professional qualification such as MSP, APM, ChPP, ChMC, RICS, CEng or P3O.

Responsibilities

• Lead the successful delivery of a major infrastructure programme with governance and control.
• Establish governance, reporting, assurance and decision-making across multiple workstreams.
• Oversee schedule, cost, forecasting, risk and change management.
• Collaborate with client, partners, consultants and stakeholders to drive progress.
• Provide evidence-based reports and advice to senior stakeholders for timely decisions.
• Identify critical paths and interfaces to protect key programme outcomes.
