Job summary

The Actuary is seeking a Transaction Manager to lead a new DB superfund programme in the UK. You will run multiple transactions in parallel, coordinate across actuarial, legal, administration and systems workstreams, and manage risk and issues to keep deals on track.

You will produce committee-ready governance papers, support leadership with reporting, and build templates and trackers to reduce risk and improve speed across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years’ experience in UK Defined Benefit pensions
• Experience with buy-in, buyout or superfund transactions
• Experience managing multiple complex, multi-stakeholder deals in parallel

Responsibilities

• Run the programme plan across several DB superfund transactions at once
• Own the risk and issue log for each live transaction and escalate early
• Coordinate actuarial, legal, administration and systems workstreams to meet deadlines
• Support senior leaders with day-to-day transaction tracking and status reporting
• Help produce governance papers for internal pricing, reporting and trustee meetings
• Build templates, trackers and reporting cadence to improve speed and reduce risk
