Job summary

Deutsche Bank AG in London is seeking a Transaction Lead in the Transaction Advisory function. The role involves supporting approvals for large, complex transactions, coordinating cross-functional finance requirements and ensuring governance adherence within a highly regulated environment.

The position requires deep accounting or regulatory policy expertise, experience with fixed income, derivatives, or equities, and the ability to present complex information to senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience within Investment Bank or Financial Services, with exposure to complex financial products in a highly regulated environment.
• Deep technical expertise in IFRS accounting or CRR prudential regulation, with willingness to cross-train in the other discipline.
• Good product knowledge across Fixed Income, Derivatives and/or Equities, ideally with exposure to structured or complex transactions.

Responsibilities

• Review complex structured transactions and other new business. Leverage subject matter experts as needed.
• Support the Transaction Manager in sign-off of new transaction approvals and legal entity approvals.
• Coordinate all aspects of Finance’s approval, including accounting, regulatory treatment, booking, and cost-income considerations.
• Review ROE hurdles and coordinate escalations as required.
• Contribute to governance, monitoring, and reporting; support TPAG team initiatives and process improvements.
