Job summary

QinetiQ Limited is seeking a Senior Programme Manager to lead a complex ISTAR programme with the Ministry of Defence on a multi-year contract. The role reports to the MD Digital Intelligence and will mentor other senior programme managers, delivering on time, within scope and budget while meeting security requirements.

Responsibilities include shaping the programme, cost control, risk management, stakeholder engagement and governance, with a focus on delivery excellence and continuous

Qualifications

• APM PMQ, ChPP, PMI PgMP or equivalent certification.
• 10+ years of experience in leading programmes and project teams.
• Detailed knowledge of lifecycle governance and risk management.
• Proven ability to coach and mentor senior project staff.
• Experience with MS Project, SAP and Oracle systems.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the Programme Management Plan and governance.
• Lead and mentor Project Managers across multiple projects.
• Manage budget, cost control and performance reporting.
• Identify, assess and respond to risks and issues at programme level.
• Engage stakeholders and manage customer expectations with cadence reviews.
• Chair programme reviews and support decision-point governance.
