Job summary

Sagacity is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex, high-value projects and programmes, working independently or as part of a programme leadership team. You will provide senior-level project management expertise across multiple initiatives and act as a trusted advisor to clients and internal stakeholders.

You will proactively manage risk, dependencies, budgets, and quality, mentoring others and reporting to governance forums to ensure successful delivery and value

Qualifications

• Senior project management experience delivering complex, high-value initiatives.
• Proven leadership, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
• Experience in consultancy or professional services environments.
• Strong planning, governance, and documentation skills (MSP, programme environment).
• Formal project management accreditation (e.g. AgilePM, PRINCE2).
• Experience with utilities, telecoms, or financial services sectors.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership for end-to-end delivery of projects to time, cost, quality and scope.
• Lead complex projects or large programmes with client alignment to objectives and SLAs.
• Define and maintain project quality management approaches and client expectations.
• Develop, maintain, and track detailed Project Plans with milestones and dependencies.
• Monitor budgets, schedules, resources, and quality; escalate risks as needed.
• Act as senior interface with client sponsors, delivery teams and suppliers.
• Build strong relationships and manage stakeholder expectations at all levels.
• Provide clear status reporting to senior stakeholders and governance forums.
• Establish robust project governance and ensure adherence to delivery frameworks.
