We are seeking a Professional Indemnity Lawyer with 5+ years PQE to support the Specialty team.

You will specialize in professional indemnity work, particularly defending claims against construction professionals.

The Specialty team handles a broad range of substantial, challenging, and largely contentious cases, including:

1. Defending claims against professional service providers such as architects, engineers, and financial advisors
2. Insurance policy coverage disputes
3. Insurance and reinsurance disputes
4. Claims related to construction, property damage, and aviation

ABOUT YOU

• 5+ years PQE or equivalent
• Established expertise in Professional Indemnity, especially construction matters and architect claims
• Experience in insurance litigation and policy coverage analysis is essential
• Experience with professional risk claims related to construction and reserving is essential
• Experience with other professional risk claims is desirable
• Understanding of commercial insurance policies, the insurance market, reporting, reserving philosophies, and relationships between brokers, underwriters/insurers, and lawyers is essential
• Previous secondment to or employment with an insurance organization is advantageous
