Job summary

Ryder Reid is assisting a premier international law firm in recruiting a Senior Professional Development Specialist in London. The role focuses on programme management, learning and development, CPD compliance, and regional/global initiatives across London and Europe, partnering with senior lawyers and business services teams.

The successful candidate will coordinate development programmes for trainees, associates and counsel, manage schedules and logistics, and oversee CPD compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in Professional Development or Learning & Development within a law firm.
• Strong understanding of lawyer development and legal training programmes.
• Experience coordinating training events, workshops and learning initiatives.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.

Job Title: Senior Professional Development Specialist

Salary: Up to £65,000 per annum

The role

As the Senior Professional Development Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting the development of the firm's lawyers across London and Europe. This is a broad position combining programme management, learning and development, CPD compliance and stakeholder engagement, offering exposure to both regional and global initiatives. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Deliver and coordinate professional development programmes for trainees, associates and counsel.
