Job summary

• Experience as Production Planner in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong organisational and planning skills with ability to manage competing priorities.
• Understanding of production workflows and capacity planning.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration.
• Proficient in Excel; experience with ERP/MRP systems.
• High accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and monitor production plans and schedules to meet demand and delivery deadlines.
• Coordinate manufacturing activities to ensure efficient workflow and capacity utilisation.
• Liaise with production supervisors, purchasing and stores to ensure materials are available.
• Monitor WIP, identify delays and implement corrective actions to minimise disruption.
• Review production priorities and adjust schedules to changing requirements.
• Work with supply chain to resolve material shortages.
• Maintain production planning records and update systems with progress information.
• Monitor performance against targets and delivery schedules.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce lead times.
• Communicate priorities across departments and support continuous improvement.
