Job Title: Senior Production Planner

Salary: £47,683
What you'll be doing:- Creating, analysing and reporting of delivery data to inform and challenge performance to plan
- Driving corrective recovery actions when off plan
- Creating and maintaining balanced schedules to meet customer requirements
- Assessing demand and capacity to inform resource solutions
- Undertaking scenario planning to support decision making
- Work across functions to create tactical plans to mitigate constraints (i.e. shortages)
- Communicating demands and impacts to the relevant Supply Chain and contracts teams
Your skills and experiences:Essential:
- Be proficient in the use of IT, especially the MS Office suite (particularly proficient in the use of MS Excel)
- Stakeholder management experience
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment
Desirable:
- An understanding of production planning and manufacturing processes
- Hold professional accreditation and qualification from a recognised Logistics/Supply Chain institution at the appropriate level, or be willing to work towards it e.g. for grade E positions this means attendance on CILT Module 3 LCC3 or PCC3 and CILT membership at Affiliate level
