Job summary

KBM Resourcing Ltd is recruiting a Production Manager for our Rugby facility. You will lead day-to-day production and service/repair activities, ensuring discipline, safety, quality and on-time delivery across the shop floor.

You will work with Project Managers and Engineering to maintain schedules and resolve issues, while driving improvements and developing a high-performing team. We seek a candidate with at least 10 years in manufacturing and service/repair management, experience leading

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in manufacturing and service/repair management.
• Experience managing a team of ~35 employees in shift-based environment.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety, quality, production planning, cost control and delivery management.
• Experience in people management processes: disciplinary procedures, recruitment, performance management.

Responsibilities

• Drive discipline and accountability across the shop floor with a focus on health, safety, quality and compliance.
• Manage and control production schedules to meet cost, quality and delivery targets.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and Engineering to maintain clear communication and prioritize work.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to boost safety, quality, productivity and profitability.
• Lead a team of ~35 employees across shifts, including people management, recruitment and development.
• Set objectives and monitor performance, escalating risks when needed.
• Monitor costs and resources and take corrective action as required.
