Job summary

Quartzelec in Rugby is seeking a Production Manager to oversee day-to-day production and service/repair activities, guiding a team of about 35 across shifts to deliver on time, safely and to high quality.

You will drive a culture of accountability, manage schedules, coordinate with Project Managers and engineering, and ensure strong health and safety practices. A hands-on leader with extensive manufacturing experience is essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in manufacturing, engineering, production or service/repair.
• Experience leading large operational teams in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong leadership, communication and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

Job description

We're looking for a Production Manager to join our expanding team in Rugby. You'll take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of production and service/repair activities within our Rugby facility.

Leading a team of approximately 35 employees across shift operations, you'll ensure production schedules are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards, whilst supporting the ongoing growth and success of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all production and service/repair activities within the Rugby Factory.
• Drive a culture of accountability, professionalism and high performance across the shop floor.
• Ensure compliance with all health & safety requirements, company policies and safety rules.
• Manage production schedules to achieve agreed quality, cost and delivery targets.
• Work closely with Project Managers and engineering teams to coordinate priorities, communicate progress and resolve operational issues.
• Minimum 10 years' experience within a manufacturing, engineering, production or service/repair environment.
• Proven experience leading and managing large operational teams within a manufacturing setting.

Strong knowledge of:
