Sunblink Ltd-GRN at Sion Mills is seeking a Senior Production Manager to drive Production and Quality performance, overseeing approximately 30 people and partnering with senior management to improve throughput and quality as the site expands.

The role is hands-on with clear path toward an Operations Manager position, as we invest in capacity growth and a new shift, offering exposure across operations and a competitive package.

Responsabilidades

• Lead day-to-day Production and Quality performance across the site

• Work closely with Quality, Engineering, Planning, Supply Chain and senior management
• Drive continuous improvement and minimise downtime in a high-volume environment
• Maintain GMP, quality and audit-readiness standards
• Promote and maintain high Health & Safety standards on the production floor
• Support growth and expansion of production capacity and shifts
• Develop people, processes and systems for longer-term operational growth

Senior Production Manager

Are you an experienced Production Manager who is ready to take the next step into a broader senior management role? Perhaps you're looking for an opportunity where you can make a genuine impact on performance today, while positioning yourself for progression into Operations Management?

Joining a growing, high-volume manufacturing operation, you will take a senior role in leading Production and Quality at the Sion Mills site as the business continues to invest, expand capacity and prepare for further growth.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll work closely with the Head of Operations, initially overseeing approximately 30 people across Production and Quality.

You'll have real ownership of manufacturing performance, with a focus on output, yield, waste, downtime, quality and people performance. Just as importantly, you'll understand the commercial impact behind those numbers and how improvements on the factory floor ultimately translate into stronger business performance.

With plans to expand production further, including the introduction of an additional shift, this is an opportunity to join at an important stage of the site's development. Longer term, there is a genuine pathway for the successful person to progress into an Operations Manager position.

The Role:

• Lead day-to-day Production and Quality performance across the Sion Mills operation
• Manage and develop the existing production team through the Production Manager
• Take ownership of key production KPIs including output, yield, overfill, waste, downtime and absence
• Identify production issues, solve problems and drive improvements in performance and efficiency
• Work closely with Quality, Engineering, Planning, Supply Chain and senior management
• Drive continuous improvement and minimise downtime within a high-volume manufacturing environment
• Maintain strong GMP, quality and audit-readiness standards
• Promote and maintain high Health & Safety standards across the production floor
• Support the continued growth and development of the site, including increasing production capacity and shift expansion
• Develop people, processes and systems to support longer-term operational growth

You will need:

• Strong experience managing Production within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Proven experience leading and developing production teams
• A hands-on, practical management style and the confidence to lead experienced teams
• Experience managing production through KPIs and using data to identify and solve performance issues
• A strong understanding of how downtime, waste, yield and operational performance impact cost and margin
• Experience working within a compliance-led, quality-focused and audit-ready environment
• Strong problem-solving, communication and people management skills
• The maturity and operational understanding required to operate as part of a senior management team

If you come from another tightly controlled, fast-paced manufacturing environment such as; pharmaceutical, medical device, aerospace or technical manufacturing and can demonstrate strong production leadership, we'd still like to hear from you.
