Job summary

Owen Daniels is seeking a Senior Production Engineer for Northampton-based manufacturing operations. You will lead CAM programming, tooling design and process optimization on multi-axis CNC systems to drive efficiency and quality on the shop floor.

Reporting to the production leadership, you will own production processes from concept through to production, support NPI and continuous improvement, and apply GD&T and Industry 4.0 concepts to maintain high standards of precision and safety.

Qualifications

5+ years in CAM programming using Siemens NX or similar.
Experience in automotive, motorsport, aerospace or precision engineering.
Experience in fixture design and production engineering.
Strong knowledge of GD&T and dimensional control.
Qualifications: HNC/HND or degree-level; apprentice trained.

Responsibilities

Develop, optimise and maintain multi-axis CNC programs using CAM software.
Design and implement production tooling, fixtures and manufacturing solutions.
Own manufacturing processes from concept to production.
Support new product introduction and process development on the shop floor.
Provide technical support to production teams while ensuring quality and safety compliance.
