Job summary

JAM Recruitment Ltd. is seeking a Principal Engineer - Product Security (Product Security Analyst) for a Barrow-based role with mainly remote work and occasional on-site visits. The contract runs for 12 months with a rate of £85.40 per hour Umbrella inside IR35.

You will work within a leading defence organisation, applying Information Assurance and Product Security principles to complex engineered systems and coordinating with suppliers across regulated programmes.

Qualifications

• Degree (or equivalent) in STEM or Information Security.
• Holding or working towards NCSC CCP SIRA (or equivalent).
• Experience in information assurance and product security within complex engineered systems.
• Experience in large, regulated defence/maritime/aerospace programmes.

Responsibilities

• Lead product security activities for complex systems.
• Deliver security cases and manage information risk.
• Engage with suppliers to assure deliverables.
• Mentor engineers and drive industry best practices.
• Engage stakeholders and communicate security results.
