Job summary

JAM Recruitment Ltd. is seeking a Principal Engineer - Product Security (Product Security Analyst) for a Barrow-based role with mainly remote work and occasional on-site visits. The contract runs for 12 months with a rate of £85.40 per hour Umbrella inside IR35.

You will work within a leading defence organisation, applying Information Assurance and Product Security principles to complex engineered systems and coordinating with suppliers across regulated programmes.

Qualifications

• Degree (or equivalent) in STEM or Information Security.
• Holding or working towards NCSC CCP SIRA (or equivalent).
• Experience in information assurance and product security within complex engineered systems.
• Experience in large, regulated defence/maritime/aerospace programmes.

V06445 - Principal Engineer - Product Security (Product Security Analyst)

Barrow based (Mainly remote 1-2 days per month on site)

£85.40 per hour Umbrella inside IR35

12 Month Contract

Currently recruiting for a Principal Engineer - Product Security (Product Security Analyst) to work within one of the Uks leading defence organisations in Barrow. Mainly remote with travel to Barrow 1-2 days per month.

• Strong understanding of Information Assurance and Product Security within complex engineered systems
• Possesses and understanding of Secure by Design concept versus Security Accreditation process
• Experience within large scale, highly regulated programmes (e.g. defence, maritime, aerospace)
• Working knowledge of systems engineering lifecycle and design assurance processes
• Proven experience delivering security cases and managing information risk
• Experience engaging with and assuring supplier deliverables
• Awareness of Whole Boat/ Platform level security integration approaches (desirable)
• Awareness and knowledge of the application of HM Government Information Security Standards IS 1 & 2 to complex products
• Awareness and knowledge of the application of ISO 27000 series of Standards to complex products
• Awareness and knowledge of the application of IEC 62443 series of Standards to complex products
• Familiarity with Security Technical Security Testing scoping and test specification
