Job summary

JAM Recruitment Ltd in Barrow-in-Furness is seeking a Product Security Analyst on a 12-month contract. The role focuses on leadership in Information Assurance and security engineering across a defence/aerospace platform, delivering security cases and risk management.

You will collaborate with engineering teams and external suppliers, drive governance, and ensure compliance with security standards while guiding the PMS product security function through milestones.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Information Assurance and Product Security in complex engineered systems.
• Experience delivering security cases and managing information risk.
• Experience with large, regulated defence/aerospace programmes.
• Working knowledge of systems engineering lifecycle and design assurance processes.
• Experience engaging with suppliers on IA deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Define, agree and deliver Product Security engineering activities in line with the programme Engineering Management Plan.
• Lead the development of PMS Interim and Final Security Cases across defined programme phases.
• Maintain alignment between system-level security artefacts and Whole Boat IA risk management approaches (WBPSec).
• Plan and manage Product Security activities to meet programme milestones and delivery schedules.
• Provide regular reporting into project governance, including schedule, risks, and milestones.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring within the PMS Product Security team.
