Job summary

JAM Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Product Security Analyst for a 12-month contract based in Barrow (LA14). The role focuses on security engineering, risk management, and producing Security Cases within a regulated defence programme.

You will collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams as a Product Security SME and ensure alignment with governance and information assurance standards, including supplier engagement.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Information Assurance and Product Security within complex engineered systems.
• Experience within large scale, highly regulated programmes (e.g. defence, maritime, aerospace).
• Working knowledge of systems engineering lifecycle and design assurance processes.
• Proven experience delivering security cases and managing information risk.
• Experience engaging with and assuring supplier deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Programme Delivery & Governance: Define, agree and deliver Product Security engineering activities in line with the programme Engineering Management Plan.
• Security Case & Risk Management: Lead development of PMS Interim and Final Security Cases across defined programme phases.
• Technical Governance & Communication: Manage IA Technical Queries and ensure outputs consider classification and handling constraints.
• Planning, Reporting & Performance: Plan Product Security activities to meet milestones; provide regular governance reports.
• Team & Capability Contribution: Provide technical leadership and mentoring within PMS Product Security.
• Key Accountabilities and Deliverables: Deliver security cases, risk registers and IA artefacts; support design reviews and lifecycle gates.
