Job summary

SRT Marine Systems plc in Bristol is seeking a Senior Product Owner to lead complex features from discovery to delivery and adoption. You will work closely with customers, users, designers, developers and senior stakeholders to shape product direction and raise quality across the team.

You will own roadmaps, define outcomes and acceptance criteria, and drive alignment across teams while mentoring peers to improve product thinking and practice within SRT.

Qualifications

• Significant experience as a Product Owner/Manager in software or technology.
• Proven track record owning complex areas from discovery to delivery.
• Strong agile understanding and collaboration with development teams.
• Ability to turn customer insight into product direction and outcomes.
• Clear decision making with ambiguity and competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Own complex product features from discovery through delivery and adoption.
• Collaborate with customers, users, UX/UI, and developers to define problems and opportunities.
• Define outcomes, scope, and acceptance criteria for features.
• Lead early discovery with cross-functional teams to reduce uncertainty.
• Align multiple teams and stakeholders with dependencies and priorities.
• Shape and maintain the product roadmap in partnership with leadership.
• Communicate direction to senior stakeholders with clear rationale.
• Maintain ownership through delivery and ensure customer outcomes.
• Identify risks early and drive resolution across teams.
• Mentor other product team members to raise quality and consistency.
