Job summary

SRT Marine Systems plc is seeking a Project Systems Architect to own the overarching design and engineering solutions within Project Delivery. Based from the Bristol office with hybrid working and occasional overseas travel, you will shape system architecture, governance and technical direction across engineering disciplines.

Qualifications

• Requires extensive engineering design and architecture experience.
• Strong systems-thinking across physical engineering, networks, data centres and infrastructure.
• Proven ability to develop and govern engineering architectures, reference designs and design principles.
• Excellent interface management across multiple teams, suppliers or partners.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and act as design authority within Project Engineering.
• Coordinate handover of system designs into Project Engineering for deployment.
• Ensure integrated solution across disciplines with defined interfaces and dependencies.
• Define architectural principles, patterns and reference architectures for reuse.
• Lead cross-disciplinary architectural decisions and maintain coherence with engineering strategy.
• Chair technical design reviews for complex solutions and oversee architectural governance.
