Job summary

RAC is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the Recall product within the SMR business, defining vision, strategy, and roadmap. You will drive cross-functional delivery across engineering, UX/UI, operations, and commercial teams, measuring success with KPIs, and balancing customer value with commercial outcomes.

The role is based from either Bradley Stoke or Walsall with hybrid work (minimum 2 days in office) and offers exposure to senior leadership and strategic decision-making in a growing

Job description

We're looking for an ambitious and commercially minded Senior Product Manager to lead the continued development and scaling of our Recall product within our growing SMR business.

This is a pivotal role where you'll define and communicate a compelling product vision, build and execute a clear roadmap, and deliver measurable value for both customers and the business. Having successfully established the foundations of the Recall proposition, we're now entering an exciting phase of growth and expansion. You'll play a key role in scaling the operation, shaping new customer journeys, driving innovation, and expanding integration across a wider ecosystem of partners and suppliers.

Working across a broad range of stakeholders, you'll be responsible for translating strategic objectives into actionable plans, ensuring delivery at pace while maintaining a relentless focus on quality, customer outcomes, and commercial impact.

This is more than a product management role. It's an opportunity to take ownership of a growing product, shape its future direction, and play a significant role in scaling a strategic business proposition. You'll have visibility with senior leadership, influence key business decisions, and help create innovative solutions that deliver meaningful value for customers and partners alike.

What You'll Be Doing

• Define and communicate a clear product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned to business objectives.
• Lead the ongoing development and scaling of the Recall product and associated services.
• Partner with senior leaders, operational teams, technology teams, and external stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into deliverable solutions.
• Prioritise product features and initiatives based on customer value, business benefit, technical feasibility, and delivery timelines.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration across engineering, UX/UI, operations, and commercial teams.
• Ensure seamless integration of new capabilities into existing systems, processes, and customer journeys.
• Define product KPIs and success measures, using data and insights to continuously improve performance.
• Manage risks, dependencies, and delivery roadblocks to ensure successful outcomes.
• Act as the voice of the customer while balancing commercial objectives and operational efficiency.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a Product Manager within a technology, digital, data-led, or platform environment.
• Demonstrable experience defining, launching, and scaling products from concept through to delivery and optimisation.
• An exceptional stakeholder manager, capable of building trusted relationships and influencing at all levels of the organisation.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate a compelling vision and bring others on the journey.
• Experience working within Agile environments and leading cross-functional teams.
• Commercially aware with a strong focus on outcomes, customer value, and business growth.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, using data to inform decisions and measure success.
• Experience within automotive, fleet, logistics, mobility, or B2B2C businesses would be advantageous.
