Job summary

Asana is seeking a Senior Product Manager in the UK to join the Project & Task Experience team. You will translate complex customer needs into a compelling roadmap that delivers value for enterprise customers and collaborates across engineering, design, research, and data science.

You will own strategy from concept through launch, partner with Product Design to create intuitive experiences, and drive milestones with a data-driven mindset while navigating large organizations' workflows.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Product Management experience in enterprise SaaS or work-management domains.
• Experience shipping enterprise features with impact on customers and teams.
• Ability to align multiple teams (engineering, design, research, data science) to a common goal.
• Comfort working in ambiguous environments and turning strategy into actionable roadmaps.

Job description

• The Product Management team drives Asana's product strategy and execution, translating customer needs and opportunities into a compelling roadmap and working cross-functionally to deliver impactful solutions for team productivity and collaboration
• We're helping to define the Work Management category and inventing new ways for teams to work more efficiently together and see the larger purpose behind their work
• Our team works directly with Engineering, Design, Experience Research, and Data Science, as well as with Sales, Support, and Marketing to ship great products
• You'll take part in every type of product work here - from strategy to product to process improvements - conceptualizing, launching, and iterating on Asana itself for millions of teams around the world
• We are looking for an experienced senior product manager to join Asana's Project & Task Experience team
• You're a product leader who has the basics of PMing down and can take on difficult, ambiguous problems where the strategy and/or solution may not be clear from the outset
• Define and deliver a compelling roadmap that delivers value for enterprise-level customers
• Partner closely with Product Design to create an enterprise software experience that is intuitive and dead simple
• Create a product strategy to balance multiple priorities and use cases across customers, product teams, and enterprise-level compliance
• Maximize clarity by bringing a data-driven mindset to setting concrete goals and milestones
• Partner with engineering, design, and other functions to execute on roadmaps with high velocity

• Experience shipping multi-month, end-to-end initiatives that require close coordination across multiple teams, including work that puts deliverables on other teams' roadmaps, where you owned the full arc from definition to deliverySystems thinker: you're comfortable reasoning about how a change in one part of a platform affects adjacent and dependent surfaces, while still caring deeply about the individual, in-the-moment experience for the person using it
• 5+ years of Product Management experience, with a track record of driving - not just contributing to - end-user features rather than purely internal or platform-only work
• You understand how large organizations actually get work done - messy structures, competing workflows, teams that need the same feature to serve very different purposes - and you've shaped product decisions around that complexity, not just built controls to manage it
• Demonstrates curiosity about AI tools and emerging technologies, with a willingness to learn and leverage them to enhance productivity, collaboration, or decision-making
• Background at a work management company (e.g. Dropbox, Box, Google Workspace, Jira) or a mid-to-large enterprise SaaS company with a complex, specific use case (e.g. ServiceNow, Zendesk) is a plus, but not required
• Strong cross-functional communicator: you can align multiple teams around a hard decision and keep execution moving even when consensus is hard to reach
• A growth mindset: you seek out feedback, reflect, and actively mentor others
