Job summary

Asana is seeking a General Manager to own strategy, product direction, and operating model for Command, its dedicated product for software development teams. You will lead across product, engineering, design, data science, marketing, sales, and customer success to align priorities and transform orchestration into scalable enterprise value.

In this leadership role, define market strategy, drive product quality, and establish Command as a pillar in Asana’s human-agent operating system vision.

• Experience leading across product, engineering, design, data, and GTM teams.
• Ability to translate strategy into roadmaps and measurable outcomes.
• Track record of end-to-end ownership of a technical product area.

• We are looking for a General Manager to own the strategy, product direction, operating model, and business outcomes for Command, Asana’s dedicated product for software development teams
• Leading across Product, Engineering, Design, Data Science, User Research, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success, you will align team priorities to transform technical work orchestration into a scalable enterprise business
• In this cross-functional leadership role, you will define market strategy, drive product quality, and establish Command as a pivotal pillar in Asana’s broader human-agent operating system vision
• Develop and communicate a clear, legible strategy and roadmap for Command within Asana’s product portfolio
• Own the business plan and operational metrics, including adoption, retention, engagement, and commercial expansion
• Build, lead, and scale a customer-centric cross-functional organization spanning product, engineering, go-to-market, and research functions
• Drive overall product quality, performance, and developer trust in close partnership with Engineering and Design
• Define how AI Teammates and the Enterprise Work Graph create differentiated workflows for technical teams
• Establish clear go-to-market positioning, packaging, and enterprise proof points to drive repeatable customer demand
