Mission

Financial Systems is central to Deliveroo, managing all aspects of the money movement ecosystem—from consumer payments to payouts to riders and restaurants. This cross-disciplinary team includes engineers, data scientists, machine learning engineers, designers, and product managers, collaborating with Finance and regional teams to build this strategic component.

We are looking for a senior product manager to join this domain and contribute to our growth objectives.

What you’ll be doing

• Setting product strategy for key parts of the Payments roadmap and translating it into technical plans
• Owning the execution of your roadmap to deliver measurable business value, leading a cross-functional team of engineers, data scientists, machine learning engineers, and designers
• Leading thought in Payments across Deliveroo
• Managing internal stakeholder communication at all levels to build consensus
• Potential responsibilities include:

• Consumer Payments Experience
• Payment methods
• Payment integration technology with Payment Service Providers
• Payouts to riders, restaurants, and grocers
• Streamlining vendor payments and partner transactions

Requirements

• Proven success as a user-focused Product Manager
• Strong analytical skills, collaborating effectively with Data Scientists for measurement and data-driven decisions
• Detail-oriented with a focus on impactful, fast execution
• Experience defining strategies for ambiguous problems and building teams from scratch
• Excellent communication, storytelling, and relationship management skills
• Ability to own projects, make data-driven decisions, and influence at all organizational levels
• Experience working in a global, consumer-facing business with distributed teams
• Knowledge of developing and launching payment products (cards and non-cards) across different markets
