Job summary

HSBC Global Services Limited is seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager for Client Connectivity to shape secure APIs across REST and event-driven architectures. You will balance client experience, engineering practicality, regulatory expectations and commercial outcomes to accelerate integrations and improve the developer experience.

Qualifications

• Proven product management experience delivering digital products, platforms or shared technology capabilities.
• Strong knowledge of API ecosystems, REST, event-driven architectures, developer experience and platform-based operating models.
• Track record of leading cross-functional delivery across regions, disciplines and boundaries.
• Ability to translate complex technology, regulatory and operational considerations into client-centric outcomes.
• Knowledge of global payments and/or global trade finance solutions, translating requirements into secure, scalable API/connectivity solutions.
• Excellent communication, analytical and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive API Platform roadmap capabilities (design, versioning, security, documentation, testing).
• Prioritise investments using customer, engineering and operational insights.
• Champion developer experience through API discoverability, documentation and onboarding.
• Ensure API delivery aligns with architecture and Client Connectivity strategy.
• Contribute to roadmap planning for API enablement and platform capabilities.
• Collaborate with Product, Channel, Lines of Business and IT teams to deliver client-centric solutions.
• Drive consistent delivery across external and internal APIs for reliable, scalable experiences.
• Build alignment across teams, regions and disciplines to translate decisions into delivery outcomes.
