About the role

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our Product and Technology team. In this role, you will lead the digital product strategy for Good Food’s Web and App. You will guide all stages of the product development lifecycle — from ideation, definition, testing, launch and re-iteration to bring continuous customer value.

You will partner with Good Food, Commercial and Content as well as Product Design, Delivery, and Development teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet our customers' needs.

As a Senior Product Manager you will:

  • Lead Strategy & Roadmap: Develop and drive the strategy for product features and roadmap for Good Food Web and App.
  • Product Ownership: Take overall ownership and responsibility for the product backlog, including the creation, prioritization, and management of issues and epics.
  • Customer-Centric Development: Deeply understand customer needs, working with Product Design to translate them into effective product developments.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with business stakeholders to understand and align on desired outcomes.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize data and insights to continuously test, optimise, and inform product decisions.
  • Prototyping & MVPs: Lead product testing initiatives and develop prototypes and Minimum Viable Products (MVPs).
  • Performance Monitoring: Track the success of product features using appropriate Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Share learnings and solutions across teams proactively.
  • Mentorship: Provide mentoring and management support to junior and mid-level team members as needed.
  • Process Improvement: Work with the wider product and development team to enhance our products and processes.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of customer-facing product management experience
  • Experience with owning and driving product strategy and delivery
  • Customer-centric mindset, focused on understanding user behaviour and translating insights into product recommendations

Desirable:

  • Experience working in the food or groceries industry
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in SQL and Excel

Benefits:

  • A relaxed working environment with regular socials including a summer festival
  • Immediate Community webinars, well-being initiatives and Mental Health First aiders
  • 25 days holiday plus a day for your birthday. Our offices will be closed between Christmas and New Year’s which are in addition to your annual entitlement
  • Tailored training and development through our Love Learning platform
  • A progressive and transparent culture with clear career progression
  • Flexible / hybrid working plus early finish Fridays
  • Cycle to work scheme
  • Enhanced Family Policies including paternity, adoption and surrogacy leave. We also provide a pregnancy loss, fertility, and carers policy
  • Competitive pension plans and Life Assurance
  • A newly renovated modern office with lots of collaborative spaces
