About the Role

We’re looking for a seasoned Data & Analytics Product Manager to lead the development of our merchant-facing analytics platform – a core pillar of our product experience that empowers merchants with deep visibility, actionable insights, and data-driven decision-making.

This role is about more than just dashboards. You’ll define the strategy and product roadmap for analytics as a platform: one that unifies operational and performance data across our e-commerce product suite. You’ll partner with data engineering, data science, and analytics teams to deliver a robust, scalable, and insightful experience that turns data into a strategic advantage for our merchants.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Define and drive the vision, strategy, and roadmap for our merchant analytics platform, treating data as a core product offering.
  • Translate merchant needs into high-impact analytics features by conducting in-depth research, user interviews, and journey mapping.
  • Build a B2B dashboard experience that is intuitive, powerful, and built on trusted, reliable data.
  • Partner closely with data engineering and data science to unify data across product verticals and surface meaningful insights – from descriptive metrics to predictive benchmarks.
  • Champion data quality, consistency, and trust, ensuring merchants can confidently act on what they see.
  • Prioritise features that close the loop between insight and action, enabling merchants to identify opportunities and optimise operations directly from the platform.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, designers, engineers, and commercial teams to ensure a coherent and valuable merchant experience.
  • Drive self-service analytics adoption through thoughtful feature design, clear documentation, and strong stakeholder engagement.
  • Stay ahead of the curve on competitive offerings in the e-commerce analytics space, and identify opportunities for differentiation and innovation.

What We’re Looking For

  • 8+ years of product management experience, with at least 4 years focused on data or analytics products.
  • A proven track record of shipping B2B analytics solutions, preferably in e-commerce or SaaS platforms.
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce operations, merchant pain points, and commercial KPIs (conversion, AOV, LTV, returns, etc).
  • Experience working closely with data teams and familiarity with modern data stacks (e.g. GCP, BigQuery, dbt, Looker/Tableau, etc).
  • Strong grasp of data modelling, data visualisation principles, and user behaviour analytics.
  • Excellent prioritisation, roadmap planning, and cross-functional coordination skills.
  • Ability to translate complex data requirements into elegant, insight-driven product experiences.
  • Confident working across technical and non-technical stakeholders, including commercial teams, engineering, and executives.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience with Shopify or similar e-commerce platforms.
  • Exposure to predictive modelling, forecasting, or ML-enabled analytics.
  • Background in analytics, statistics, or data science (or the ability to spar intelligently with those who do).

Why This Role Matters

Our merchants rely on data to make decisions – from fulfilment strategies to product performance and growth optimisation. You’ll own the product experience that puts that power at their fingertips. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role that bridges platform thinking, deep customer empathy, and strong technical fluency to deliver something genuinely valuable.
