Job description

We are seeking a highly organized and results-oriented Product Manager to join Dwelly as the first dedicated Product Manager. This role involves overseeing all current Dwelly products, including Tenant Find, Property Management, Payments, and CRM. The candidate should deeply understand user personas such as Tenants, Landlords, Maintenance Providers, and Dwelly Agents, and be capable of driving the product roadmap and deriving insights for each product and persona. Given the company's early stage, the role also entails structuring fundamental product processes, defining the product roadmap, managing regular sprints, and establishing collaboration processes with the operations team.

Our current tech team comprises 10 members, including analysts and a product designer. You will lead this team to evolve the existing basic MVP—focused on core functionalities—towards a more strategic product that incorporates ROI-based decision-making and addresses deeper needs of various user personas.

About Dwelly:

Dwelly is a UK-based, AI-enabled lettings and property management startup experiencing growth through a roll-up strategy of acquiring estate agencies. The company combines two main approaches: i) acquiring existing letting agencies with sticky, recurring revenue landlord portfolios, and ii) developing advanced technology to automate tenant management, payments, and property maintenance. Dwelly seamlessly integrates AI to automate processes within traditional real estate agencies, transforming them into tech-enabled digital platforms rapidly to enhance user experience and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct user interviews, surveys, and market research to identify customer pain points.
  2. Utilize qualitative and quantitative data to inform product decisions.
  3. Represent the voice of the customer within the company.

2. Product Development & Execution:

  1. Identify key customer problems and market opportunities.
  2. Collaborate with engineers, designers, integrations, and operations teams to translate requirements into features.
  3. Prioritize features based on business impact, user needs, and technical feasibility.
  4. Lead the product lifecycle from ideation through launch and iteration.

3. Product Performance:

  1. Define and monitor success metrics to evaluate product performance.
  2. Work closely with operations to roll out changes and promote product adoption.

4. Product Process Building:

  1. Establish workflows, documentation, and decision-making frameworks.
  2. Implement product roadmaps, rollout schedules, and organize demo sessions.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 2-3 years in product roles, with additional 2-3 years in operations (consulting as a Senior Analyst or Associate, or as an Operations Manager). Experience in structured environments with a product-led culture.
  • Skills: Highly organized, analytical, detail-oriented, and excellent at stakeholder communication.
  • Ability to deliver basic products independently, leveraging AI tools.

Preferred Background:

  • Experience in operational tech, developing new processes and products from scratch.
  • Experience across both structured and early-stage startup environments.
  • Strong analytical skills, a proactive attitude, and meticulous attention to detail.
