Job summary

Legal & General is seeking an experienced Product Principal to shape and deliver our Active Fixed Income and liquidity product strategy. In the Strategy, Product and Marketing function, you will lead end-to-end product lifecycle, from new propositions to managing and closing existing products.

You will collaborate with Investments, Distribution and Operations to deliver client-focused solutions that support our commercial goals and regulatory requirements, while influencing senior stakeholders

Qualifications

• Significant experience in product strategy, development and lifecycle management within international asset management.
• Strong expertise in Active Fixed Income and liquidity products and client propositions.
• Experience launching and managing funds across multiple jurisdictions (UCITS/non-UCITS).
• Knowledge of regulatory and governance requirements for investment products.

Responsibilities

• Leading the design and delivery of Active Fixed Income and liquidity product initiatives across a range of investment vehicles.
• Driving new product launches, enhancements, mergers and closures in line with client needs and commercial objectives.
• Managing complex product projects, including milestones, coordinating stakeholders, risks and delivery challenges.
• Ensuring product activities comply with governance frameworks, regulatory requirements, policies and procedures.
• Reviewing the commercial viability and ongoing performance of the product range, identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Providing technical product expertise covering propositions, regulation, tax, disclosures, registrations and operational considerations.
• Developing relationships across Investments, Distribution, Operations, governance committees, service providers and external partners.
• Presenting recommendations to senior stakeholders and fund boards.
