You will drive high‑quality product development across subsystems and coordinate with product line engineers, systems teams, customers, purchasing and manufacturing to enable informed decisions. The role requires strong experience in mechanical design, control systems, CAD (Creo), and leadership in process improvement.

Qualifications

  • Senior or lead engineer experience in mechanical design and development.
  • Design, development and project engineering experience, preferably automotive.
  • CAD capabilities with Creo 2 and solid modeling skills.
  • Knowledge of materials, stress/strain theory and FEA principles.

Responsibilities

  • Drive high-quality product development across subsystems and components.
  • Coordinate with product line engineers, systems teams, customers, purchasing and manufacturing.
  • Translate stakeholder input into clear technical recommendations for design, test and execution.
  • Apply engineering methods to progress projects with safety and performance in mind.
  • Lead the application of engineering processes and tools to strengthen decision-making.
  • Own components or small projects and mentor technicians and junior engineers.
  • Develop and improve work processes within the functional discipline.
