Job summary

AGS is seeking a Senior Product Engineer to join a growing, product-focused engineering team. This role suits a strong mid-level engineer (3–5 years) stepping into a Senior position with greater ownership, ready to influence architecture and drive delivery across the platform.

You’ll work remotely with one Liverpool office day per month, contributing to architecture, mentoring peers, and engaging directly with customers to shape product direction.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ commercial experience building and delivering production software.
• Demonstrable ownership of projects or features beyond tickets.
• Experience making technical or architectural decisions in production environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
• Good communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience mentoring or leading other engineers is a strong advantage.
• Experience with either AWS or Salesforce is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review production-quality software across the platform.
• Take ownership of technically complex work and deliver it to production.
• Break larger problems into clear, achievable pieces of work.
• Maintain ownership across multiple projects and development cycles.
• Improve how the team builds, tests and releases software.
