Qualifications

• Degree-qualified in Mechanical Engineering.
• 4+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• Experience acting as a technical lead in engineering activities.
• Strong experience in mechanical design and engineering support in manufacturing.
• Advanced 2D drafting skills using Autodesk AutoCAD, including GD&T to BS 8888.
• Experience maintaining and developing component parts and assemblies.
• Knowledge of document control and revision management processes.

Responsibilities

• Design and drafting to support existing AMOT product ranges and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide technical engineering support across cross-functional teams including production, planning, purchasing and quality/manufacturing engineering.
• Lead enhancement or customization developments driven by customer requirements.
• Support global product development initiatives with design, drafting and validation testing.
• Lead local test and qualification efforts and coordinate with internal teams and suppliers.
• Manage customer/product specifications, project plans and product releases to production.
