You will not wait for a perfectly scoped ticket but will partner with product, design, and data to identify and ship high-impact work end-to-end.

The role emphasizes breadth and depth in the mobile ecosystem, leading architecture reviews and untangling latency regressions while collaborating with peers to elevate product outcomes.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software experience with hands-on coding
• Deep mobile app ecosystem with Swift and/or Kotlin
• Breadth across web frontend, backend services, data/infra or platform tooling
• Strong product judgment with evidence-based decisions
• Troubleshooting production issues across stacks (crash analysis, latency)
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration and leadership in reviews

Responsibilities

• Identify, scope, and ship changes that move business metrics across mobile, web, services, and data layers
• Architect long-lasting systems for performance, reliability, scalability, offline behavior and consistency
• Lead technical design reviews, weighing trade-offs in code, product impact, time-to-ship and cost
• Drive operational maturity: release management, observability, incident response and performance monitoring
• Partner with PMs, designers, and engineering leaders to shape what we build, and in what order
• Set the technical bar by example: prototype, prove patterns, and teach them to the org
• Communicate trade-offs clearly to engineers, product partners, and senior stakeholders
