You’ll lead design reviews, diagnose latency regressions, and partner with PMs, designers, and data teams to decide what to build and when. The role emphasizes breadth with deep mobile expertise, and setting technical standards across the org.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software experience with hands-on coding.
• Proven mobile app experience (iOS/Android) including offline sync, push, auth and persistence.
• Experience across web frontend, backend, data/infra or platform tooling alongside mobile.
• Strong product judgement and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Identify, scope, and ship changes that move business metrics across mobile, web, services, and data layers.
• Architect long-lasting systems for performance, reliability, scalability, offline behavior, and consistency.
• Lead technical design reviews across teams, weighing trade-offs and product impact, time-to-ship and cost.
• Drive operational maturity: release management, observability, incident response, and performance monitoring.
• Partner with PMs, designers, and engineering leaders to shape what we build and in what order.
• Set the technical bar by prototyping, proving patterns, and teaching them to others.
• Communicate trade-offs clearly to engineers, product partners, and senior stakeholders.
